PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a storage case in a car of railway model set for storing the car while protecting it from dust, which is also used for interior room decoration, a room light provided in a beautiful car body being illuminated, and to solve the problem of the car being stored uselessly in family home i.e., usually the car of the railway model set is moved for play for only a short time and stored for a considerably longer time. SOLUTION: After laying railroad tracks for a model car or cars in a storing case body 1 and storing them thereon, a cover 2 is attached to one side of the storing case for prevention of rotation, and fixed with setscrew 3 for cover. A cover 4 to be connected to a power source is attached to the other side of the case and fixed with setscrew 5. Further, a battery case 10 is fixed with a setscrew 6. Turning the power switch 11 of a room light to ON makes the room light illuminated. In the place where lighting a lamp for a long time, and where AC power source is available, a battery circuitry is disconnected automatically by connecting AC adapter jack 12 to 100 V power supply, and the illumination is available for a long time utilizing the AC power.
