PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head unit for holding an ink viscosity in a predetermined range by controlling to heat the ink without specially setting a heater at the head unit, and to provide an inkjet recorder and an inkjet recording method. SOLUTION: The head unit 10 has an inkjet head 11, a driving means for sending a driving signal to the inkjet head 11, and an ink supply 70 for supplying the ink to the inkjet head 11. Heat receiving parts 73A and 73B which are adjacent to the driving means and are heated by heating of the driving means are set at a part of the ink supply part 70. A control means is provided for controlling the heating of the driving means by generating a heating signal for refraining an ink discharge to the driving means upon necessities.
