PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strongly fix a baggage basket to a basket receiving piece, i.e. a bicycle without looseness. SOLUTION: This baggage basket mounting device 1 for a bicycle for attaching a baggage basket 30 to a bicycle 45 is provided with a first member 2 disposed on an inner surface of the baggage basket 30, a second member 3 disposed on an outer surface of the baggage basket 30 to sandwich the baggage basket 30 and a basket receiving piece 7 with the first members 2, an engaging part 4 formed in either the first member 2 or the second member 3, an engaged part 5 formed in the other side of the first member 2 or the second member 3, and a fixing member 6 separating the second member 3 from the basket receiving piece 7 in the state that the first member 2 is engaged with the second member 3.
