PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier film laminate excellent in transparency and also having high gas barrier properties and the resistance to heat treatment such as boiling sterilization, retorting sterilization or the like corresponding to those of a packaging material having a metal foil laminated to a part thereof. SOLUTION: A primer layer comprising a composite of an acrylic polyol, an isocyanate compound and a silane coupling agent is provided on at least the single surface of a base material comprising a plastic material. Further, three layers, that is, a vapor deposited thin film layer comprising an inorganic oxide, a gas barrier coating layer which is formed by heating and drying a layer compressing an aqueous solution and/or an water/alcohol mixed solution containing a water-soluble polymer and at least one kind of a metal alkoxide or a hydrolyzate thereof, and a stress/moisture relaxing layer are successively laminated to provide a gas barrier layer on the primer layer.
