METHOD FOR DRIVING MEMORY OF PLASMA DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method is provided to achieve improved quality of image by preventing an erroneous discharge caused due to an incomplete trigger discharge. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of applying a trigger setting pulse to a trigger electrode upon start of a frame, and sequentially applying a trigger discharge pulse, a discharge start pulse and a discharge sustain pulse to each of cathode electrodes. The numbers of the trigger discharge pulses are plural. The trigger setting pulse aims to accumulate positive ions on the dielectric layer of the plasma display panel. The trigger discharge pulse aims to discharge the positive ions to the cathode electrode.
