<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the accurate determination of mCK isozyme, comprising separately assaying the activity of ubiquitous mCK (umCK) activity and sarcomeric mCK (smCK), and to provide a method for the fractional determination of a CK isozyme. <P>SOLUTION: This method for the determination of the mCK isozyme comprises using an antibody specifically recognizing a umCK protein. In addition, other anti-mCK antibodies (for example, an anti-smCK antibody) and other anti CK-M-inhibiting antibodies can be used. The antibodies include polyclonal antibodies and monoclonal antibodies. One example of the antibodies is a monoclonal antibody (U1-1881) which is an IgG class monoclonal antibody capable of specifically recognizing human umCK and is produced with a hybridoma specified by accession No. FERM P-18760. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
