PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device with excellent paper separative feeding performance and capable of precisely complying with various sizes of paper. SOLUTION: This paper feeding device having a system that a paper feeding roller 1 and a separation member 2 are brought in pressure contact with each other and paper passed through a nip part is separated one by one, is provided with retaining means 4 to integrally retain the paper feeding roller 1 and separation member 2.
