PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper container which has heat-insulating properties, maintains container strength, is easy to form a cup, is easy to disposable and is less in environmental load and to provide paper for the paper container. SOLUTION: The paper for the heat-insulating container has a first projection in at least part of the surface thereof which corresponds to the external surface of the container.
