PURPOSE: To provide an intake air amount control device for an engine in which the processing of a throttle body and the production of an assembly comprising an idle air control valve, an actuator and a throttle sensor can concurrently be performed to contribute to the improvement of productivity. CONSTITUTION: A synthetic resin-made casing 10 is attached to a throttle body 1 as a separate body in one end side of a valve shaft 4 of a throttle valve 3. Further, the idle air control valve 25, the actuator 26 and the throttle sensor 37 are installed in the casing 10.
