<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refining means for efficiently removing impurity components from aluminum alloy waste. SOLUTION: In a vacuum reduced pressure treating chamber 3 shut off from the atmosphere, a molten metal receiving part (A) temporarily storing molten aluminum alloy and a molten metal stirring part (B) temporarily storing the molten metal and provided with a stirrer 4, are arranged so as to mutually communicate the molten metal. A molten metal introducing tube which is opened at the one end part into the molten metal in this molten metal receiving part, is arranged so as to introduce the other end of this tube to the outside of the treating chamber, and a weir, with which the molten metal in the molten metal stirring part overflows into a molten metal discharging part, is arranged. A molten metal receiving tube 8 for transferring the overflowing molten metal from the molten metal discharging part to a molten metal receiving chamber 10 for temporarily storing the molten aluminum alloy under the atmospheric pressure at the outside of the treating chamber from the molten metal discharging part, is arranged so that the lower end thereof is opened into the molten metal in the molten metal receiving chamber 10. Further, the pressure in the vacuum reduced pressure treating chamber 3 is reduced and a vacuum evacuating device 7 for receiving the vaporized impurity from the molten aluminum alloy in the treating chamber 3 is connected with the treating chamber 3 through a vaporized impurity recovering part 6.</p> |
