PURPOSE: A driving device of a jacquard loom is capable of stabilizing an opening operation, preventing yarn-cutting, increasing work speed, increasing weaving efficiency, stabilizing quality of textile, preventing abrasion, increasing durability and not becoming stained. CONSTITUTION: The driving device comprises: a frame(1); a knife box(2) set on an upper part of the frame(1) and elevated with crank rods(7)(7a); hooks(2a) installed in the knife box(2); heddles connected to a lower end of the hook(2a); a horizontal needle and a card searching and selecting an elevating hook and elevating the heddles to open warp; vertical rods(8)(8a) connected with rear ends of the crank rods(7)(7a); operating rods(11)(11a) set on a driving box(9) and connected with lower ends of the vertical rods(8)(8a); an inner end of the operating rods(11)(11a) set in the driving box(9) and connected with both connecting parts of a seesaw plate and connecting rods; shaft rods set on both upper ends of the seesaw plate; rotating rollers installed on the shaft rods; two-lobe cams installed on a driving shaft of a driving motor; a driven gear shaft(17c) protruded to an outside of the driving box(9); and a timing pulley which is adhered to an outer end of the driven gear shaft(17c) and connecting with an operating shaft(1c) and a timing belt(1d).
