FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device is designed for damping vibration and noise of pipelines. Proposed device contains additional housing in form of hollow cylindrical envelope with viscoelastic filler installed coaxially to axis of pipeline on its section, and axial member installed without clearance between pipeline and viscoelastic filler, axial member being made in form of thin-walled cylindrical envelope with longitudinal corrugations, each having two stable states with opposite directions of convexity.
