<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detecting rate of micro-burst directly over the radar by reversing the codes of the half of velocity data for one scanning, obtaining one-series data in connection with the remaining half of the velocity data and detecting wind shear from the data. SOLUTION: A parabola antenna 2 transmits radio waves to the reflecting bodies such as water droplets distributed in the air caused by weather phenomenon and receives the echoes. A transceiver 3 has a transmitter, a receiver and a switching device, amplifies the received echoes and outputs the received signals. A signal processor 4 outputs the velocity data from the phase difference in the transmitted and received waves based on the received signals. A data processor 5 such as an electronic computer reverses the codes the data more than 180 deg. and less than 360 deg. among the read-out velocity data and connects the data to the data more than 0 deg. and less than 180 deg.. By this system, the detecting rate can be improved even for the micro-burst generated at the position separated from a radar 1A but also the micro-burst generated directly over the rada 1A at the same time.</p> |
