The expanding prosthesis (5) implanted in a duct is removed by a transport catheter comprising and outer tube (30) and an inner tube (20). The inner tube holds an axially moving element (10) with hooks (15) at the free end. When the moving element is pushed the hooks extend out of the catheter tube and spread. the spread hooks grip the prosthesis and pull it into the catheter. The hook shape and the structure of the prosthesis enable the hooks to grip and disengage the prosthesis in a repeated manner. This enables the prosthesis to be pulled into the catheter, compressing at the same time.
|
