PURPOSE: A structure of an exhauster for a roaster is provided to improve exhausting efficiency by forming an exhausting channel to be linear, and to reduce cost of installation by simplifying a structure of a lifting unit. CONSTITUTION: An exhauster includes a suction tube(10) placed on an upper side of a roaster; a main body(30) discharging smoke introduced by a blower(31) built therein to an exhaust duct(50); a bellows tube(20) connecting the suction tube and the main body; and a lifting unit(40) lifting the suction tube in vertical direction. The lifting unit comprises a supporting axis(41) fixed on an inside of the main body; a lifting wire(43) of which one end is fixed to the suction tube, of which a central part is wound around the supporting axis, and of which the other end is exposed to the outside; a balance bar(44) coupled to the other end of the lifting wire, and having weight corresponding with the suction tube; and a stopper(42) attached to the lifting wire between the main body and the balance bar to limit lifting height of the suction tube. The main body is directly coupled to a lower side of the exhaust duct in such a manner that an exhaust channel extending to the exhaust duct makes a straight line.
