FIELD: authenticating one or more subscribers of communication-line terminal. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording and temporary storage of video information about physical identity flags of subscribers at network entrance point; processing of mentioned temporarily stored video information resulting in generation of definite identity flags as biometric codes; storage of biometric codes in biometric server tables and on subscriber s SIM, biometric code incorporated in one table being assigned to respective subscriber; entrance of SIM including personal biometric code in communication terminal by subscriber; recording and temporary storage of actual information about physical identity flag of subscriber by means of video transducer; processing of temporarily saved actual video information about subscriber which results in setting and temporary storage of definite identity flag as biometric code; authentication of user by comparing actual biometric code of subscriber with stored biometric code.
