<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card life cycle management service method which consistently supports issue of an IC card where a specified application is laded and subsequent processings. <P>SOLUTION: An IC card management service system 100 is provided with a user database 120, an issue history database 130, and an application database 140. An operation system 110 issues an IC card by downloading the specified application from the application database 130 to the IC card according to user information in the user database 120, and further downloads and adds the specified application to the IC card 210 having been issued to reissue or cancel the IC card. Consequently, the application download type IC card that is applicable by itself to an application that the user requires can be issued and pieces of information on the user, IC card, and application can unitedly be managed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
