<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepaid card management system which improves convenience of a prepaid card. <P>SOLUTION: The prepaid card 1 is used which has a card function A made effective up to a temporary time limit 2g indicating the same time limit as a previously set normal time limit 2f, e.g. a commuter ticket part 2 and a card function B made effective within a range which starts with a previously set specified amount of money and that prepaid balance (current value) 3a indicates, e.g. a prepaid train ticket part 3; when the prepaid balance (current value) 3a of the prepaid train ticket part 3 becomes deficient, the remaining period up to the temporary time limit 2g of the commuter ticket part 2 is converted into an amount, part of which is allotted to the deficiency of the prepaid balance (current value) 3a to shorten the temporary time limit 2g until which the commuter ticket part 2 is made effective. Further, when money more than the allocated amount is paid, the temporary time limit 2g having been shortened and set is put back to the normal time limit 2f which should be set in advance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
