<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system capable of providing reliable providing information. <P>SOLUTION: This information providing system is provided with an information terminal (1-i) belonging to a user and a provider device (2). The information terminal (1-i) and the provider device (2) are connected to a public line network (3). The provider device (2) transmits the providing information to the information terminal (1-i) through the public line network (3) to provide the providing information to the user.
