PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the power conversion efficiency of a composite resonance converter provided on the primary side thereof with a current resonance converter. SOLUTION: With respect to the composite resonance converter, a partial voltage resonance circuit is combined with the current resonance converter on the primary side thereof. A secondary-side parallel resonance circuit, a secondary-side series resonance circuit, and further a secondary-side partial voltage resonance circuit are combined with the secondary side thereof. With respect to an insulating converter transformer, the formation of a gap between the magnetic legs of the core is avoided. Thus, coupling coefficient between the primary side and the secondary side is increased as compared with a conventional case. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
