PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat puffer type gas-blast circuit-breaker which enables improvement of circuit breaking capability by puffing arc rather low temperature extinction gas that exists in a heat puffer chamber when the heat puffer type gas-blast circuit-breaker is closed. SOLUTION: The heat puffer type gas-blast circuit-breaker comprises; an arc occurring space 10 consisting of a fixed arc contact member 11; a movable arc contact member 12 and an insulating nozzle 13; a driving member 21 which makes the movable arc contact member 12 contact with the fixed arc contact member 11 or makes the movable arc contact member 12 off the fixed arc contact member 11; and a heat puffer chamber 20 enclosed with the heat puffer cylinder 22, which communicates with the arc occurring space 10, wherein gas flow stabilizing members 23, first check valves 24 and second check valves 25 to control extinction gas flow in the heat puffer chamber 20 and to guide the extinction gas to the arc occurring space 10 when the movable arc contact member 12 is made off the fixed arc contact member 11 by the driving member 21, are installed.
