PIP PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A PIP processing system and a method of controlling the system are provided to finely adjust the size and position of a sub-picture. CONSTITUTION: A PIP processing system includes a PIP processor(36), a mouse(20), a mouse input processor(12), and a microcomputer(44). The PIP processor receives a PC video signal from a computer main body(1) and accepts a video signal from the outside to support a PIP function of displaying a main picture and a sub-picture. The mouse is connected to the computer main body. The mouse input processor is provided in the computer main body and converts a mouse input signal output from the mouse into a PIP control signal for controlling the PIP function to provide the PIP control signal to a monitor. The microcomputer controls the PIP processor according to the PIP control signal to change at least one of the size and position of the sub-picture.
