PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption for power control of a digital broadcast receiver. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiver having a mount section for attaching/detaching a removable tuner processing apparatus transmits contract channel information comprising a station name of a broadcast wave and a transmission designation time of individual information designated at mount of the removable tuner processing apparatus to the removable tuner processing apparatus, and transmits information of using the removable tuner processing apparatus to the removable tuner processing apparatus while the user uses the removable tuner processing apparatus to view a program.
