PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic terminal that optimizes character indication or changes a pickup image angle easily in conjunction with movement of a sliding chassis that is slidably movable to a main chassis. SOLUTION: A main chassis 1 has a mode key 7, specific keys 8, 9, a numeric keypad 10, and a microphone 11. On the main chassis 1, a sliding chassis 2 is provided through a sliding mechanism in a linearly movable manner. The visual range of a character indicator 6 is changed with movement of the sliding chassis 2. A position detector detects the slidably moved position, and a character size indicated on the character indicator 6 is changed based on the detection results. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
