PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform communication by radio communication equipment with high priority by preventing radio interference among a plurality of pieces of radio communication equipment having mutually close use frequencies regarding communication equipment for mobile body. SOLUTION: A vehicle mounts a VICS (vehicle information communications system) receiver 24 that performs radio communication with radio wave beacons 28 mutually having mutually close use frequencies of 2.5 GHz and 2.4 GHz and having prescribed communicative areas (for example, 100 m of radius) installed on a road by every prescribed distance (for example, 10 km), and a BT transmitter/receiver 30 that performs short range radio communication with a portable terminal 34 carried by a crew of the vehicle. When the present position of the present vehicle to be detected by using a GPS (global positioning system) receiver 14 is in the communicative areas in the radio wave beacons 28, the short range radio communication between the BT transmitter/receiver 30 and the portable terminal 34 is prohibited by supplying no power to a BT antenna 32. Thus, reception of VICS information from the radio wave beacons 28 in the VICS receiver 24 is secured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
