PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a high voltage cable whose conductor is prevented from discoloring, even in the high voltage CV cable which is composed of the conductor made of a plurality of twisted wires. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the high voltage CV cable 14, where a nitrogen atmosphere container 10 and a head 13 are adjacently arranged in parallel and the conductor 11 is passed inside the nitrogen atmosphere container 10 and the head 13, a nitrogen insertion port 12 is formed at an upper part of the nitrogen atmosphere container 10, a circular nitrogen release member 15 surrounding the conductor 11 is provided inside the nitrogen atmosphere container 10, and the nitrogen insertion port 12 and the nitrogen release member 15 are connected to each other. Nitrogen inserted from the nitrogen insertion port 12 is passed inside the nitrogen release member 15 and is jetted from the nitrogen release member 15 to the conductor 11 by the pressure.
