DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING AND CALCULATING RECEPTION ELECTRIC FIELD INTENSITY, AND PROGRAM AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for estimating and calculating reception electric field intensity by which calculation accuracy is improved when the reception electric field intensity is estimated by using ray tracing.

SOLUTION: The device for estimating and calculating reception electric field intensity is provided with a data base 30 that holds information about a building and the ground, a parameter input means 10 for inputting a rotation angle to be allowed about inclination of the wall surface of the building as a tolerance and a ray trace means 50 for discriminating presence/absence of reflection points on the respective paths by referring to the held information in the case of tracking traces of radio waves to be propagated from a transmission point to a reception point, for calculating ranges of existing positions of virtual image points by reflecting a degree of freedom of the tolerance existing in an angle of a plane such as the wall surface of the building in the case of calculating a virtual image point of the transmission point or a virtual image point of the reception point to be formed by using the plane as a mirror surface, checking presence/absence of a line segment connecting the virtual image points of the transmission point and the reception point or crossing of the line segment connecting the virtual image points of the reception point and the transmission point and the plane and for reflecting them on presence/absence of the reflection points.
