<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic controller for an electronic musical instrument by which the optimum acoustic characteristic is obtained in each case where a second speaker is attached to a musical instrument main body or is not attached. <P>SOLUTION: The musical instrument includes: the musical instrument main body 2 having first speakers 11 and 12; the second speaker 15 being freely removable in the instrument main body 2; designating means 9c and 9d for designating a first speaker usage mode for using only the first speakers 11 and 12, or a both-speaker usage mode for using the first and the second speakers 11, 12 and 15; a storage means 23 for storing first and second acoustic characteristic coefficients G1 and G2 to respectively set the acoustic characteristics in the first/both-speaker usage modes; a reading means 20 for reading the acoustic characteristic coefficient in response to the designated speaker usage mode; and a musical tone signal generating means 26a for generating a musical tone signal for reproduction by the speakers 11, 12 and 15 based on the acoustic characteristic coefficients. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
