PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce mixing of dust caused by a mask. SOLUTION: A second flattening film (insulating film) 60 is formed by covering the circumference of a pixel electrode 50 and a positive hole transport layer 52, an organic light emitting layer 54, and an electron transport layer 56 are formed in order using the same mask. Especially, anisotropy when each layer is vapor-deposited is gradually enlarged, whereby the upper layer becomes smaller and a part of the upper layer is prevented from descending to the side of the lower layer.
