The fastening consists of a locating pin (14) and a fastening pin (18) connecting a nose bridge plate (9) or a side piece hinge component to a spectacle lens (2). The two pins are inserted into holes (10, 11) in the lens at an angle to one another, e.g. of 20 deg., with the locating pin fitted first, followed by the fastening pin in an expansion bush (17). The locating pin is attached to the plate (9).
