PURPOSE: A device for preventing the rolling-back of a vehicle on a slope way is provided to prevent the vehicle from rolling in the opposite direction of the traveling direction by installing a direction control device to a driving shaft. CONSTITUTION: A driving direction control unit has a gradient-sensing unit(10) detecting the gradient of a road on which a vehicle travels, and a driving direction-restricting unit with a reverse-driving preventing unit(12) restricting the rotation of a driving shaft(5) in the opposite direction of the inclined direction according to the inclined direction of the road detected from the gradient-sensing unit. The driving direction-restricting unit restricts the rotation direction of the driving shaft rotating by the driving force produced from an engine(1).
