PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a card connector in which processing of a grounding part and installation to the housing can be done in the same process as the processing of the terminal group and installation to the housing. SOLUTION: When a card connector 7 is manufactured, the following processes are carried out, i.e., a process S1 in which an integrated part 70 of a first terminal 40, a second terminal 50, a grounding part 60, and a detecting switch 30, that includes a portion connecting the grounding part 60 to the soldering part 41b side of the first terminal group 40, is print molded on a hoop material, a process S2 of punching out the integrated part 70 from the hoop material, a process S3 of insertion molding the integrated part 70 on a housing 1, a process S4 of separating the frame part 71 from the integrated part 70 after the insertion molding, a process S5 of cutting off the connecting part 72 of the first terminal group 40 and the grounding part 60, and a process S6 of cutting off the connecting part 73 of the terminals.
