<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility when traveling a curved road and turning right or left at an intersection, for assured safety. <P>SOLUTION: When a light source 5 is turned on, the light from the light source 5 is reflected on segments 61, 62, and 63 of a first reflecting surface 6, and positively illuminates a curve light distribution zone DZ1 as a curve light distribution pattern P1. The light from the light source 5 is reflected on segments 71, 72, and 73 of a second reflecting surface 7, and positively illuminates an intersection light distribution zone DZ2 as an intersection light distribution pattern P2. As a result, the visibility when traveling on a curved road and turning right or left at an intersection, for assured safety. The light quantity is not required to be increased as no hole 90 is required to be provided at a part of the first reflecting surface 6 and the second reflecting surface 7. Since part of the second reflecting surface 7 is formed on the side wall 92 of a reflector 9 to which the light source 5 is fitted, the light quantity is further increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
