<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively cheap cable end part of good workability, easily meeting various cable sizes. <P>SOLUTION: A cable bracket 9 is disposed near a cable end part. A detention member 11 which prevents displacement of a cable sheath 7 in the longitudinal direction is disposed on the upper end side of the cable bracket 9. The retention member 11 comprises a cylindrical member 13 provided with a flange member 12 which is engaged with the upper end of the cable bracket 9, and a tubular heat-shrinkable member 14 which is capped over the cable sheath 7 and on the upper end side of the tubular member 13. The cylindrical member 13 comprises a square metal plate having a strip-like section on the lower edge side which is bent into a tube along the external surface of the cable sheath 7.
