The juice extractor comprises a combination of two screws, one horizontal (4) and one vertical (3). Both are without their helicoidal ends and positioned so that the vertical screw is suspended just above the thicker end of the horizontal end. The horizontal screw (4) has a conics downstream segment enclosed within a grid (7) which conforms in shape to that of the screw. The grid is terminated with a nozzle (8) to facilitate removal of grape residue. The vertical screw is located in a funnel (2) to which grapes are introduced. Both screws are driven by an electric motor (11).
