PURPOSE: An air cleaner is provided to prevent a corrosion of component by preventing an ozone gas from remaining in the air cleaner, while achieving in-advance prevention against accidents including an electric shock. CONSTITUTION: An air cleaner comprises a dust collector(1) for collecting dust from an air; a cathode fin(2) arranged in the vicinity of the dust collector; an air blower(3) for sucking the air into the air cleaner and discharging the purified air to the outside; a power circuit(4) for supplying an anode current to the dust collector and a cathode current to the cathode fin; a delay circuit(5) arranged in the air blower; and a main switch(6) for starting an operation of the delay circuit in accordance with the shutoff signal of the main switch.
