PURPOSE: A slide switch including a clip guide member is provided to enhance the reliability of the slide switch by reducing the disturbance of the slide switch due to a clip. CONSTITUTION: A slide switch including a clip guide member includes a plurality of terminal portions, a nonconducting portion(44), and a clip portion(18). The terminal portions are used for forming electrodes projected from the slide switch to sustain the flow of current. The nonconducting portion(44) is installed between the terminal portions to prevent the flow of current. The clip portion(18) is slid along the terminal portions and the nonconducting portion(44) in order to connected electrically the electrodes of the terminal portions to each other. The width of the terminal portion is equal to the width of the nonconducting portion(44).
