<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle voice converter which converts input data into voice data and outputs the data without restraining visual sense of a driver. <P>SOLUTION: The converter is provided with a voice converting section 2 which converts input text data into voice data and a controller 3 which is provided with a wheel 13a, that is operated with a prescribed operating repulsive force, and selectively controls the reading position of voice data outputted from the section 2 in accordance with the operating input by the wheel 13a. The controller 3 varies the repulsive force being generated on the wheel 13a in accordance with the reading position selected by the wheel 13a with respect to the total voice data covering from a reading start position to a reading end position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
