<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing method and an information processing system for storing information of areas having different recognition corresponding to place name information of the areas, and providing determination materials when inputting the area information of an inputting person. <P>SOLUTION: In this method and this system, the address of the inputting person is identified, the address and weather information inputted by a user having an address in its vicinity are read from a database, and the read data are subjected to a statistical process and transmitted to a terminal apparatus of the inputting person. The transmitted data are the result of the statistical process, weather determined by residents in the area or the place of the name, and the most effective information. Hence, when, for instance, weather information or the like is inputted in a diary or the like, selection can easily be made in a short time by referring to selected information of other users in the case where there are a plurality of choices in the input of the weather information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
