PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal capable of allowing a transmitter side to retransmit missing image data when received image data are missing. SOLUTION: A recording section 50 records received image data once stored in an image memory 80 on recording paper and transfers the data to a flash memory 90, wherein attribute data such as a received date and time, a FAX number of the transmitter side, the number of received pages, the page number for end of recording, and the page number for end of transfer or the like are stored in an attribute storage area 92. Thus, even when the received image data are missing from the image memory 80, re-transmission of the received image data after the missing page, that is, unrecorded and not transferred received image data is automatically requested to the transmitter side on the basis of the attribute data in the attribute storage area 92. As a result, the transmitter side retransmits the image data after the missing page at the receiver side. Thus, when the received image data are missing, the receiver side allows the transmitter side to retransmit the image data after the missing page. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
