PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a lot of information by a method wherein information can be displayed irrespective of a folded state and a spread state, in a foldable portable radio set. SOLUTION: In the foldable portable radio set 1 constituted of a first cabinet 2 and a second cabinet 3 which are rotatably connected, a display unit 5 is arranged on either one cabinet 2. The display unit 5 is constituted of a first translucent window 7 for display which is arranged on an inner cover 24 of the cabinet 2, a second translucent window 13 for display which is arranged on an outer cover 25 of the cabinet 2, a display device 11 arranged in the cabinet 2, and a mirror 28 which is switched linking to the spread states of the first cabinet 2 and the second cabinet 3. When the first cabinet 2 and the second cabinet 3 are spread, display is performed from the first translucent window 7.
