<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller in which desired torque can be generated efficiently from an SR motor even when the voltage of a driving power supply at the motor is varied. <P>SOLUTION: In the controller of an SR motor comprising a stator of salient pole structure, a winding wound around the salient pole of the stator and a rotor of salient pole structure, the on-timing of a voltage applied to the winding is corrected such that a value obtained by integrating the square of a driving current i generated at a previously assumed reference driving voltage E0 applied to the winding in response to a torque request for a specified period is equal to a value obtained by integrating the square of a driving current i1 generated at a varied driving voltage E1 for a specified period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
