PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional method that an environmental effect as concrete result such as reduction in emission of carbon dioxide or energy saving does not emerge in a visible manner up to a sales spreading stage for commercializing a product and actually spreading its sales, and the environment effect to be resulted from research and development of product cannot be thus easily calculated in a research and development stage for performing the research and development.

SOLUTION: This produce development environmental effect calculation device comprises a central arithmetic processing part 130 for performing operations for (1) calculating the environmental influence by a product development, (2) calculating the environmental influence by a commercialized product, and calculating the environmental effect related to the product development based on the results of these calculations.
