<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a drum shell of an improved type. <P>SOLUTION: The drum shell structure of the improved version is provided with a first sheet material layer having elastic nature, a second sheet material layer in contact with the first sheet material layer and means for gluing the two layers to each other. The drum for music is formed with the drum shell having variable sound absorption and radiation characteristics, by which the coefficient of elasticity of the first sheet material layer is distributed to the second sheet material layer in order to control and improve the timbre of the drum head. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
