PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the balance adjustment of a rotor of a motor simply and without increasing a size. SOLUTION: At least one cavity 3 is formed in the direction of a rotary shaft 2 of the rotor 1, and one or more elastic members 40 are fitted in for balance adjustment. The elastic member 40 attempts to extend its length when inserted once between both throttle parts 31 and 32 of the cavity 3 and are locked stably by abutting against the throttle parts 31 and 32 with narrowed bores. As the elastic member, a tubular elastic member which attempts to extend in the radial direction of the rotation of the rotor 1 may be used. In that case, its external surface may be provided with a groove. Moreover, a plate-shaped elastic member may be used which has, at its periphery, a section attempting to extend in the radial direction of the rotation of the rotor 1. A complicated mechanism for fit-in of the elastic member is not required. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
