PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal capable of allowing a transmitter side to retransmit image data when received image data are missing during transfer. SOLUTION: After received image data are transferred from an image memory 80 to a flash memory 90, the communication terminal transmits an MCF (Message Confirmation) signal in response to an MPS (Multi-page) signal from the transmitter side to the transmitter side as the succeeding processing. After all the received image data are transferred from the image memory 80 to the flash memory 90, the communication terminal transmits the MCF signal in response to an EOP (End of procedure) signal from the transmitter side as the succeeding processing. Thus, in the case that a power supply is interrupted during transfer of the received image data and the received image data are missing, a communication error takes place because no MCF signal is transmitted to the transmitter side. As a result, the transmitter side makes redialing and retransmits only the image data after the missing page. Thus, when the received image data are missing during transfer, the communication terminal allows the transmitter side to retransmit the image data. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
