PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catenary type electric cable continuous vulcanization control method which has a simple configuration and prevents external damage of a cable. SOLUTION: The tension of a conductor 3 is detected with a tension sensor 13 before supplied in vulcanization equipment 8, and the tension of the conductor 3 between an inlet and an outlet of the vulcanization equipment 8 is controlled on the basis of obtained information. As a result, it is not necessary to make a contactor touch an insulator in the vulcanization equipment 8, thereby preventing the external damage on the cable. In addition, the tension sensor 13 comprises a bracket 20, two fixed pulleys 22, a stress detecting pulley 21, and a load cell 23, thereby detecting the tension by the simple configuration.
