PURPOSE: A humidifier is provided to control the degree of humidification by controlling the motor at a variable speed, while allowing for improved performance of mist generation with a low power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A humidifier comprises a pumping pipe which rotates by a motor(M) and a motor shaft and pumps up the fluid by the pressure difference; one or more rotating plates(104,105,106) rotating integrally with the pumping pipe, and which apply a centrifugal force to the water discharged from the pumping pipe; and crushing units arranged along the outer surfaces of the rotating plates so as to crush the water discharged from the rotating plates.
