<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp adapter having improved usability. <P>SOLUTION: This lamp adapter comprises a base 14 being screw-fitted into a lamp socket (not shown in Fig.), a socket male connector 19 into which the base (not shown in Fig.) of a lamp (not shown in Fig.) is screw-fitted, and a human body detecting sensor 46 capable of detecting a human body.
