<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus which has a telephone function and an electronic mail function for reading aloud a text with a voice quality corresponding to a transmit side, without increasing the transmission data quantity. <P>SOLUTION: An extracting means 1 extracts transmit-side information obtained from a transmit side at terminating. A retrieving means 3 retrieves whether associated data corresponding to the extracted transmit-side information exist in an address table 2. Upon starting of talking in response to a call from the transmit side, an extracting means 4 extracts voice quality parameters of the calling person from voices at the transmit side, and an address table saving means 5 saves the voice quality extract result.
